Your child takes the free assessment

2
We review every answer
We identify exactly where the gaps are and where your child is already strong — not just a score but a specific picture of where they stand.
3
Free 15-minute results call
We walk through the results together. You leave knowing your child's strengths, their specific gaps, and which program — if any — is the right fit. If SubMathics is not right for your child we will say so.
What your child's assessment covers.

Who We Are
End the homework battle. Build the confidence that lasts.
If math homework ends in frustration, tears, or your child simply shutting down — you are not alone. It happens in homes across Florida every single night. The problem is not your child. It is not you. It is the absence of a structured, low-pressure environment where your child can actually build the skill instead of just surviving the assignment. That is exactly what SubMathics was built to fix.
Every SubMathics session is delivered live on Zoom in a group of no more than 4 students. Your child brings whatever homework or concept has them confused and we start there — no preset agenda, no rushing through a lesson plan. We find the real gap behind the wrong answer, guide your child through it with the right questions, and make sure they can do the next problem independently before the session ends.
Every student builds a personal cheat sheet — a structured reference card they reach for at home before they give up. This single habit is what breaks the shutdown cycle that happens between sessions. Instead of staring at a problem for 45 minutes and doing nothing, your child has a tool, a process, and the confidence to start.
For families facing the Florida FAST assessment, the Algebra 1 EOC, or the Geometry EOC we also offer the Spring Boot Camp — a focused 5-week test prep program with a structured curriculum built around every tested domain. Boot Camp runs April 6 through May 8 with registration closing April 2. Whether your child needs ongoing homework help through the School Year Program or targeted test prep through Boot Camp — we start every family the same way. A free assessment and a free 15-minute results call so you have real information before committing to anything.
We start every new family with a free math assessment and a free 15-minute results call. You find out exactly where your child stands — specific strengths and specific gaps — before committing to anything. If SubMathics is not the right fit for your child we will tell you honestly on that call.

How a SubMathics session actually works.
School Year Program — Homework Help Sessions
✏️
Your child brings what they are stuck on
The session starts with whatever homework or concept has them confused. No preset agenda — we meet them exactly where they are.
🔍
We find the real gap — not just the wrong answer
Most homework struggles trace back to one missed concept. We identify it fast and address it at the root so the same problem does not keep coming back.
💡
We guide — we never just give the answer
Students work through problems with the tutor asking the right questions. The goal is that they can do the next one independently — not just copy the process.
📋
Cheat sheet builds independence
Every student builds a personal reference card they can reach for at home before giving up. This is what breaks the shutdown cycle between sessions.
📊
IXL SmartScore closes the session
The final 15 minutes of every session uses IXL to lock in the concept just practiced. SmartScore movement is tracked and shared with parents so progress is visible and real.
Boot Camp — Test Prep Sessions
Boot Camp sessions follow a structured 5-phase curriculum designed to cover every tested Florida FAST, Algebra 1 EOC, and Geometry EOC domain before the assessment window opens. Unlike the School Year Program, Boot Camp has a set weekly curriculum built around the reporting categories and benchmarks that appear most on each test.
Same maximum of 4 students. Same live Zoom delivery. Same no-homework rule. Different focus depending on what your child needs right now.
